It's been a long three weeks since I last posted. My day job has been keeping me very busy, so I haven't had much time for post-processing the most recent shoots or choosing the images for my new business cards. The weekends and most evenings have been for family of late and, of course, my wife's inevitable annual home improvement projects.

I have been able to squeeze a bit of time in for cataloging and screening images from previous shoots into catalog sets to make the post processing work flow easier when I get a little more free time. Lightroom 3 makes it pretty simple to do, and the catalog sets are visible in both the Library and Develop modes so once you've picked the best images, you don't have to switch back and forth between modules to do the initial processing. Of course, had I been doing this all along at the completion of each series of shoots, I wouldn't have such a backlog, but as they say, hindsight is 20/20.

I do have a couple of shoot planned for the 1st week in March, and I hope another few near the end of that month.
